Bonty 24hr. Pairs.
Need mud tyres.
What's available I wonder this late in the day and what do you recommend?
I see Swinnertons are in attendence - but which shop and maybe I should pre-order over the phone and collect from their stall on Friday / Saturday?

Can you get Bonty Mud X's in that size, if so they're the kiddies for UK mud

mrs julian was in The Bike Cellar this morning (4 miles from newnham) and they had mud x in 29" flavour. I will be racing this weekend on normal size versions.

(highly impressed with wife's new-found interest in tyres 🙂 )

It will be Swinnertons at Fenton. Give Craig a call and I'm sure he will bring some Mud X's with him

Mud-X - I've got a few extra sets and will be at 24/12 if that helps.

Sam.
You have extra sets of Mud X 29er tyres?
What sizes?
I was ideally looking for the 1.8.

i really hope that i have no need to buy any, it's my first 24 solo. If a broken fat boy with a scandal 29 comes looking for tyres sam, can i get a cup of tea with em? 🙂

tim, I believe the mud x 29er only comes in one sixe - i believe it's designated a 2.0 but is on the narrow side.

tom, no problem, coffee man myself but sure we can sort sdomething out 🙂

I must say I found the Mud X to be on the thin side, esp up front when looking down on it, but during winter, and at other times - up front - it was a champ

Cheers.
I'll ring Swinnertons in the morrow and prepare for a mud bath - yet again. MM and SITS in 2008 were less fun in the wet and mud. One thing about the 29er - it really flies in the dry on the RRalfs!
