Hello in the days of my 26ers (turner and yeti) I changed between coil and air shocks depending on ride /mood/ bad back/ eclipse but I do not do it with a 29er.....why? and any reason not too
Bike's a bike tbh. I think these days people are putting a lot of work into making bikes work with specific types of shock, and you've got more anti-sag and clever curves and that so there's probably more downside to it... But I'd still like to try it, in mine.
(tbh I had a Van RC in my Hemlock for a while and if it'd only had a propedal lever instead of dial, I'd maybe have kept it... But it was like pedalling a soggy biscuit up hills and a pain in the bum to spin the dial.
