I'm having a bit of a change round with the bikes and I'm thinking of ss'ing and putting rigid forks on the chumba hx1.
Presumably I'd be better off with the 29er forks as this would keep the headangle relatively slack - the frame is designed around 140mm forks so regular 26in rigid forks would make it steeper than i'd want?
Or have I made this up?

I had the regular 26" CF on-one forks on my 456SS, no worries there. It rode better with the 29er front wheel though (or at least the Irish were more confused 🙂 ).
