as title, thinking about a new trek top fuel 9.8sl at £3750, which I think is a very good spec for the money, but what other choices do I have ?

The Devinci Atlas is a staggeringly good bike, and this looks an absolute bargain

Hi Jonny, I've built up a top fuel, frame only alu one (with lbs discount £1180)

Really pleased with it, fast and fun, do think the boast rear makes a difference, if only to keep the rear tucked in

Perfect for round Somerset also just done a week in the lakes on it, coped fine

Got a Top Fuel on order myself, Specialised S Works Epic or Whyte are the other two other options I would consider.

Tallboy?

Won't be a surprise to most on here, but check out the spec you get on a Tallboy for the money the OP is thinking of spending on the Trek, and you may be less keen. Sure it's still a nice bike though.
