got chronicles on, been told some tougher winter treads would be a good investment.
heard that maxxis have some new tyres due out.
anyone know? or recommend something.

Where are you riding? Some 29x2.3ish may be better for mud etc. Not much choice in plus tyres. Vittoria do a 29+ Bombolini.

Got claggy clay/chalk round here so mud clearance is pretty important. 2.25 Maxxis Beavers worked well on the Jones last winter for me.
