@letmetalktomark- have a chat to tall hairy mouth on legs that is the monger of bikes, as I think he's picked up the UK distribution for terene. If not have a chat to young Andrew of stooge as he's got some direct from chaps and may be able to source some for you.

If there's any 650b+ riders ended up in here by accident, I see that on-one have Terrene chunks in 3.0 flavour for £34 which seems pretty reasonable to me in this day and age.
Compared to 29+ Minions, anyway.

I've got a McFly on the back of the tandem, like it a lot so far, very sloppy ride yesterday and it was fine. Got mine direct from the states via a family member, not cheap but the only option I had to find one when I got mine.

In theory, Trek's new XR4 29 X 3.0 tyre is due in 1 weeks time-at least I'm hoping so as I've got one on order. Vee tyre Bulldozer comes up a bit little less aggressive than the Maxxis DHF, rolls fine on front, costs far less and runs out at 3.25" wide, fine on rigid fork, not so sure what clearance is like if you have suspension in mind.

My McFly in Tough shell came in at about £75 but if ordering from US the shipping pushed it over the £100 easily as their shipping costs are super high, Ned I'm only just down the road from you if want to take a look at the terrene.

I must admit for the last two years when it's got really sloppy, I've out a 2.4 Chunky monkey on the back of the Krampus.

They're a 'big' 2.4 anyway, and on a 50mm Rabbit Hole rim they blow up to about 67mm wide. Works well, plenty of grip, and go up tubeless easily.
