Is anyone aware of a fork that will accept a 29+ wheel and tyre, ideally 100x15.

That is...

A: lighter than my whisky carbon no.9 @ 750g

B: actually up to the job of mountain biking so not a Chinese special?

Any help, link or pointers gratefully received.

Cheers

Be lucky to find 29+ 3.0 tyre clearance in non boost.

You could just run a £5 boost axle and disc mount adapter.

Don't planet X do a boost one, supplied with the Whippet?

Niner RDO Carbon fork is ~550g and can take 29*3 tyres. It is boost, but as above, just use an adaptor.

I thought the whiskey fork was the bees knees. It certainly costs a lot.

Enve available in Boost or non Boost will take a 3inch tyre Ritchey...

Or

It's not rocket science

Travers is a good call, seems like a good cost vs weight vs strength compromise.

@ £359/No weight limit/610G

Hadn't really considered a boost kit as I've used the hope one before and it needs the wheel dishing.
Just found the MRP kit though which doesn't and no fussy 5mm spacers either. Easy enough to switch back if I want to use my 100x15 sus fork.

Cheers all

The only thing that put me off the Travers is the silly DT Swiss RWS style axle which I can't stand. It doesn't use common dimensions so can't be swapped out for any other axle. Stock is very low which one could infer may or may not indicate something new coming soon.

Hadn't noticed the stock levels, nice spot.

I'll hold on.
