Worth a look at Orange Stage 4, 5 and 6.

Not gone beyond 2.4in rear on my S6 but clearance seems very generous.

I don't think you are going to get that with a frame with chainstays going the conventional route, even with boost there isn't going to be enough room. I have a Trek Slash, which makes full use of the boost width at the bb and has slim chainstays, and it will probably just fit a 2.6 29" tyre, but on a dry trails only basis.

It might depend which 2.6in tyres as well.

ie. Spesh ones measure about 2.45in IRL.

I'm deffy in the dry trails only bracket, luckily for me.
current frame (26er) fits 275x2.6 nobby nic in the back, so that's already quite good, but wouldn't be an option in mud i reckon

so phantom and prime, is that by sticking on the275 drop outs from spitfire etc?

damn, prime back on top of the list then

Can get a Maxxis 2.5 or a Butcher 2.6 in the back of a 29er Enduro with the boost back end and still plenty of room.

Stumpy 2019 one will take 29 X 2.6 and there's still 10 mm clearance per side or 27.5 X 3.0

Maybe Scott Genius?

The 29er will take decent tyres and you can go 27.5+.

My test bike arrives tomorrow.

Norco Fluid is 2.6. Comes with Forekasters.

I have a 29×3 carbon fattie and was considering a full stache to replace it. Fluid has good geo and is cheaper so I get to keep both.
