Hi all, I picked up some flat mount trp Spyres for my new bike build but they didn't come with any bolts. To fit the rear 160mm adaptor to the frame I think I need the 27mm TRP bolts (the chainstay morning hole are approx 19mm think), however these are our of stock everywhere.
Am I ok to just use other bolts providing they fit? I think they are M5s. I'm
obviously wary of what I use since this is a safety critical item, does anyone know what I should look for?
It's just clamping the caliper on yes? I'd use any decent bolt.
Yeah, it's fixing the 160mm adaptor to the frame. The adaptor has bolts for attaching the caliper to it
Do I need stainless steel or high tensile? What about titanium, does that play well with other metals?
