Been used to paying about £35 (with sales discount, German sites, discount codes etc)for good 27.5 x 2.35/2.4 tyres for years, Magic Mary's, High Rollers, minions.

On the look out for good value aggressively tread 2.6 tyres and most are nearly £50 or above. Even Specialized are expensive in 2.6.

Any deals to be had?

Those Nobby Nics on Merlin - trailstar or pacestar? are they different front and rear or got a preference? I see from Bikeradar review they recommend the Trailstar front and rear.
Cheers,
Niall
