As I'm behind the times, all my bikes use a 27.2 post. I've got an original GD, a Traildrop and a Sattori/RSP. Quite happy with the pin-on-a-spring method, but it would be nice to drop more than 100mm. Is it possible? Or do I need to revert to the QR lever also for more substantial downhills?

(or buy a new frame?)
