Hi, I have had a set of wheels for a while now that are new (142mm rear) 15mm front Bolt thru Intense so nothing special but look solid enough. Someone I know has a frame now that will accomdate a 142 rear thru so I think may have a crack at doing a build as i`ve got a new groupset pretty much too but I would need forks which I would want to ideally get for around £100 ish. I did see on some forums (hotukdeals) and on here I think some that looked ok at that sort of price point. I have been told for the frame they need to be around 120mm ideally and tapered. I have seen a lot that mention boost which I understand are the newer standard but I need just 15mm, are these pretty easy to come by still at decent prices. I have also looked at selling my wheels and starting again going for the new boost style possibly but is there a big difference in perfomance. I have traditionally ridden hardtail 26 bikes with standard qr axels and just want the bigger wheels and better more solid ride ideally but still keeping the weight respectable. I have looked at full bikes second hand and the prices arent cheap currently for 27.5 bikes so this way I could build a nice hardtail I think and use most of what I already have. The key now I think is finding the right fork spec at the £100ish point which is my budget really for now.
