Sorry for another tyre thread. I am completely lost looking at options online and haven’t seen a thread for this type of tyre, although I might have missed it.
I need a pair of tyres in 27.5 size up to a 2.8 width suitable for cycle paths and places like pembrey, not the beach though. Trying to get everything ready for two weeks time when I will have my free days and should be able to ride a bit. Difficult to know what to look for, thought I might get an answer from someone here. What would be best for this sort of terrain?
Thanks
What width of rim? I'd go with WTB Byways given the choice.
Good point. They are 30mm internal width rim.
I doubt you will find a "hybrid" tyre for that width so maybe something fast rolling like a Bontrager XR0/XR1?
Schwalbe G-ones come on 650b x 2.8" if you can find them, not cheap though.
Seen the g-ones on my travels, and yes they are a bit pricey. Haven't seen the bontys though. Will go and have a look now. Thanks
I have a set of Donnelly Xplor MSO 50mm if you want them pm me your address and I'll sort it out.
