Maxxis minion dhf 2.5wt for the front.

On the back of my Aeris I use a 2.4wt Maxxis dhr2 2.4wt in the winter and change to a 2.3 Maxxis aggressor in the summer.

3c compound front, dual compound rear. Exo sidewalls.

The Specialized Hillbilly 2.6 is a very good 2.4” all-conditions front tyre. The DHF 2.5 is better in the dry, the Shorty 2.5 better in complete filth and the DHR2 2.4 like a DHF 2.5 that’s a bit better in the mud and at braking.

DHR2 is my favourite rear tyre. The 2.3 rolls quite a lot quicker than the 2.4 but the latter is grippier in soft conditions due to the much larger knobs. Dual compound on the back (3C front).
