I've been considering a bit of "n = n -1" and a rigid fork for my 27.5 HT could remove the need for my rigid 29er "aggro-gravel adventure ATB ". I don't see 27.5 specific rigid forks, but measuring the axle to crown length, the current 130mm suspension fork is around 52cm, vs 47cm for a 29er rigid fork.
I assume it would be fine (I'm not gonna die, right?) but anyone have any insight into what the a-c measurement compares from suspension to rigid forks in general?
This page https://www.carboncycles.cc/?p=197 for the eXotic Carbon fork suggests that the 46.5cm fork is 'suspension corrected for a 100 or 120mm suspension fork' on a 27.5 wheel.
I've got their 29er fork on my 27.5 hardtail.
FWIW, Cotic sell their rigid Alpaca fork, designed to be a drop-in replacement for a 100mm 29er fork or 140mm 650b: https://www.cotic.co.uk/product/alpaca. It is 483mm A-C.
If you measure the A2C on a 130mm fork, remember that your rigid replacement should be about 25-30mm shorter to take sag into account.
