Have been thinking about monster trucking up the Vagabond as it mainly gets ridden off road and quite fancy trying some big fat rubber on it....

Has anyone done it? Is it worth it for tyre clearance? I think I'd get a 3.0 in the front but not sure what clearance is in the rear for 27.5....

Also wondering what I might get in the back of my MK1 Swift at 27.5....

Any thoughts?

Interesting. I have what I believe is a mk1 Swift. I tried a3in Knard on a Crest rim anit jammed in the fork. That was a 29in wheel but the fork blades are pretty much parallel. I’m guessing that’s a 27.5 x 2.8?

I think the mk 2 has room for B+ tyres. I'm running a mk2 Swift fork on a Genesis High Latitude and a 2.8r/3.0f combo fits well.

I'm after a med Swift frame seeing as we're on the subject.
