Help me if you can please.

Lad is just starting to ride and soon will want to go to the local new pump track.

All I have is a 27.5 heckler with 160 and a 29 hightower. Not ideal for pump track at all.

I would like something smaller wheels hard tail which I also improve my (very basic) trials skills too as well as something I can mess on with lad. Dont  want a bmx

Any help for frame ideas or bikes from say 5/6 years ago where I might get 26 inch wheels.

Thanks in advance

BFe or a Soul could be good if you also want it to be a mountain bike.Anf they're pisstakingly cheap, I just built myself a completely kickass Soul for about £400.

(I haven't a clue if a dj bike is any use for trials dicking about, if it is then that might work well)

Octane One Zircus. Built one for my son and I don’t mind a quick go.

Dirtjump section of Pinkbike buy/sell would give some ideas, if not actual things to buy.

I picked up a barely used 26" DMR Wrath (like this:  http://ride.io/reviews/dmr-wrath-first-look/ ) for £150 and it's perfect for pump track arsing about.
