Cant decide..
Offered a Nice 2011 covert for £500
Seen Brand new Nomad 2 frame for £1050

This is my final thread on unfashionable frames.. the decision needs to be made

I have a 2012 Covert, I believe the 2011 has the normal spindle rear axle. Love my bike but new vs used for an extra £500 would be quite tempting, depends on the condition of the Covert frame. The bike is very capable and pedals well too.

The covert is in very nice condition.. But just over £1k for a new nomad.

The covert is a bit overpriced for a 2011.

Is the Nomad from a shop? Ie warranty. Rode one of the carbon 2's and loved it.

My Oh has a 202 covert the last of the 135mm rear ends, he loves it, modern geom, capable bike.
I would go for that over a nomad any day.

Yup 2011 as still the old 10x135 rear wheel
2012 had the option of 10x135 or 12x142

Its hard to get excited by the monad, the Covert just looks right. (Mine is a purely objective opinion of course, if you think differently then you are falling foul of subjectivity :D)
