After overcooking a jump and flat landing on the weekend, I've had to accept that my rear rim is dead (Big flat spot and a tight kink) Unfortunately its a 24h Mavic 819 which were specced on Cannondales a few years ago. I've now learnt these were quite special and getting hold of a replacement is going to be £80-100 and difficult even then.
A trawl of the internet has come up a bit short, although reading some sites I could use a 36h and leave a gap every 4th spoke.
Any recommendations before I have to accept I need a complete new rear wheel?
