I think it fits in but can't quite remember. Can anyone help before I buy one please.....

i think the official word from Sam, if he is okay with me saying, is yes it will fit, but is tight... and i think by the time to take into account rim width, and a bit of 'tolerance' in tyre and frame, you could well be into a light rubbing scenario... ah, hang on, this was for a Pegasus not a swift...

i had a 2.4 mountain king in the back of my Pegasus without an issue, but i understand them to be a 'thin' 2.4

Also depends if running a triple clanger, my front mech rubs on a 2.25 ardent when using the granny ring on my swift

can't wait to put it back to ss

Also depends whether it is a 'new' Swift (with s-bend chainstays) or an older one. The new ones have a bit more room and should be fine, the older ones will be very tight if it works at all.
