Hi all

Anyone seen any deals on 24" disc brake wheels for kids bikes?

I only really need a rear, something half decent would be nice but happy with secondhand as condition isn't critical.

Thanks

I built up some wheels using https://www.condorcycles.com/products/condor-24-mtb-rim, seem a good compromise. Not as light as Crest but a lot cheaper!

Superstar did some for a while. Maybe have a look or drop them an email.

Thanks Neil, I've spent a lot of time on your website the last few days but they are too expensive for me I'm afraid.

I have a set of excellent condition novatec hubs with crest, tubeless with crappy shcwalbe black jack tyres 2mm stainless spokes, has adaptors for rear, qr135 bolt thru142, from qr, 15mm and 20mm bolt thru non boost.
I had them custom built by Mark Pollard at Spokesman wheels in Devon. I used to build myself, I have a jig and all the gear, but Mark is a magician. https://www.spokesmanwheels.co.uk/
All in cost was 320 ish.
You can have them for £175+delivery. PM me.

I've got a pair I was going to ebay (when I got round to it - in fact Jnr has been promised the funds for these and his 20" to buy a drawing tablet of some sort so he's been given the job of cleaning off cobwebs and taking photos). Nothing special but QR/disk mounts and 10sp HG hub. Don't know where you are but post cost could be prohibitive.

I've also got a 26" straight steerer low end RS fork... and a 20" rigid

Those superstar ‘stans’ build 24” wheels are fab. Very light, with something like a rocket Ron tyre.
