How do you shorten carbon cranks?
Oh, that's nice! You need to try and get rid of the rust marks on the tarmac.
How old is he?
riding an enduro race without a dropper tut tut
Lewis's ripcord was 25lb and a bit with dropper, 11sp XT cassette and heavier tyres. rode well but shock and forks needed a tune for his weight. nice wee bikes they - sold Lewis's month or so back.
These cranks were pre production versions with an alloy insert. Heli coil pedal threads bonded in place.
Fin is a large 7 year old. I reckon he'll only get a season out of this bike. Thankfully #2 will be growing into it once he's done.
Dropper yep.. realistically though it's just another faff for now especially when he will happily standing sprint around a BMX track 😉 Most of his buddies have to bounce hard on theirs to make them go down so by that point he' have missed his gear changes and end up struggling more.
I'll get one on there soon though, need to figure out the best place to drill cable routing though as I only have stealth posts.
ran a lev DX on Lewis's so cable didn't change length.
