I'm planning two long road rides on my CX bike that has i23 rims.
I've fitted some ancient 35c Land Cruisers, but I have a set of 23c Conti road tyres spare.
Would such a narrow tyre work ok on a wideish rim?

Not something I'd be looking to try TBH.
I think they recommend a max of 19mm for 25c tyres IIRC.

Christ no, I'm running 28c with i19, and it's been working fine but a sod to get tyres fitted properly.
I did fit a pave 24c and it was dodgy as.

Does the i23 have an internal width of 23mm or external?
