I know you can get an adapter for the rack similar to this - 15mm fork adapter, but as I use the rack for both 20mm and 15mm forks I was wondering if anyone made something that would slide into the standard 20mm mount as a step-down to take a 15mm axle. To me this seams far easier than taking the rack apart to swap things over.
Is there anything off the shelf or is it time to call some favours at our local CNC place?
The problem you'll have, is the 20mm adapter will foul the dropouts on the 15mm forks even if you have some kind of adapter inside the 20mm adapter.
Good point, hadn't thought of that. I'll whip the mount out and see if it could be trimmed to fit the 15mm fork and leave enough meat to still be secure on the 20mm.
