Found a bargin five for sale. Just wondering on how tall anyone who rides a 20inch is. I have just sold my superlight which had a standover of 29inch. The five has a 31 standover. Im 6ft 3 with an inside leg of around 34. Anyone on here been put off by the extra 2inch... or should I just man up and get on with it.

How often when you come off do you land on the crossbar? You don't.

Standover is overated. As long as you have some so you can dismount and mount easily, fit/length/comfort is far more important.

My dad is 6-2 and has a 34 leg. He has a 20 inch alpine and did have a 20 inch five both were perfect for him.

I'm 6' and find a 20" Five a better fit than the 18" model. If only I could find one going cheap 🙂

Put it this way, I'm 6ft and ride an 18" - I wouldn't want to go any smaller, so a 20" should be spot on for you.

I'm also 6'1" and ride a 20" Five, used to have an 18" ST4 but it gave me back ache as I was too cramped lengthwise. The 20" is a little too big height wise for me, a 19" would be perfect.
