Any experiences of similar? Just fitted a brand new post and it's got non-trivial side to side movement. If any other post I've had in the past had this much, I'd be sending it for a service.Â
Otherwise it's lovely, fast, slick return and the shims for travel adjust are likely going to be useful.
Almost certainly I'll take it back to lbs where it came from, but that's a pita round trip + possible removal if I don't take the whole bike.

I have one which is just over a year old. It only has very slight side to side movement and no discernable fore and aft movement if you use the saddle as a lever…
