What the option for mudguards / fenders for a 2023 giant revolt .   Don’t want clip on - I want to utilise the mounts.

I think the giant branded ones for the revolt are out of stock ?  I may be wrong .  What are the other options that work without to much bodging .

thanks

given the shape and style or the flaps, they appear to be made by SKS.

might as well get some of these:

https://www.halfords.com/cycling/bike-parts/mudguards/sks-commuter-bike-mudguard-set-with-spoiler-45mm-28in-838750.html

these, stiffer:

minor mid for the front to - remove L bracket and then just attached to mount under fork steerer.

I don’t know if they have changed, but I have a 2019 Revolt Advanced and the Giant mudguards for it were shockingly bad. A pain to fit and rubbed the paint on the fork.

I now use clip one but if you want ‘proper’ fitted ones I’d look at offerings from SKS. They make loads of different types and hopefully something will suit.

Would like to avoid clip on if possible.

Hard to go wrong with SKS.
I bought some of the wider aluminium ones for my Free Ranger, which I'm currently modifying around the very curvy carbon frame/fork crown due to their flat profile.

In hindsight the more curved profile thermoplastic ones might have been an easier fit but I liked the solid looking thick stays of the aluminium ones.

I could possibly have got the narrower aluminium ones in ok with 700*38s but I wanted a lot more clearance as mud round here can be a bit sticky.

I have some chonky aluminium square profile SKS Blumen Edge Al full guards on my commuter running 40mm Conti Contact Touring Plus, required a bit of fettling to fit, a couple of cable ties to the rear and a Dremel to remove chunks to clear the front mech and fork crown as a bit too wide for the frame. Heavy but solid and effective although somehow a spacer has escaped and the front now rattles at the clip for the stays... they replaced a lighter, skinnier SKS set which worked out the box with the 28mm tyres I used to run.

On my Revolt I use the Win Wing on the rear and Gravelhugger on the front. Effective enough for a bit of rain/muck but in horrible weather I get spray on my feet and back.

Where are you based, @preseli?

If you are anywhere near Newport/Cardiff you’re welcome to come and see if the Giant mudguards I have will fit your Revolt.

really would be better off just fitting some decent SKS and will have similar level of faff to the the 'official' ones.

If you are set on the Giant ones, then might be best phoning around Giant dealers to see if there is stock in shops
