Does anyone have real world experiences from Meta AM, Meta TR and Clash?
I need a bike that I go for a blast in the woods, ride on an epic into the alps and play a bit in bike parks.
Which one did/would you take.
Have you encountered any problems?
Anyone?
I’ve got a 2021 meta am. I really like it. It pedals as good uphill as I want it to, it’s a 35lb enduro bike so no prizes for weight but i think it’s tough enough to survive a nuclear apocalypse!
It’s real good downhill as you would expect, super stable and planted but still fun. A mate who is an absolute Pinner and has the 2021 tr doesn’t get held back by less travel. I ride my am as my only bike and it does ok on bigger pedal days but clearly is designed for more abuse than xc miles!
I think the tr would probably suit most people, if anything I’m over biked.
I’m 5’8” on a medium and it’s one of the best fitting bikes I have had
I've got a 2021 meta TR that I bought frame only on a bit of a whim. I can't say how it compares to the other two but it rides nicely, feels planted when going fast.
Only downsides for me are weight, and lack of tyre clearance.
There was a review of the TR on pinkbike a couple of months ago.
