Just fitted my 29/120 latest "2021" debonair air shaft to my A1 Pike RC. No problems fitting and it was a straight swap out.
But the forks at rest now measure 140 from the top of the fork seal to the underside of the crown.
The packet says 29/120 and A1/A2 Pike.
Have removed all air pressure and the stanchions will sink right down into the legs.
They seem to 'bounce' alright and ramp up near the end of the stroke. 4 volume spacers were and are fitted.
The initial travel is very soft and I wonder of this is deliberate and the actual usable travel is still 120 when sagged. Need to set up the sag as if it were a 120 fork and see how it rides.
sounds like a mega upgrade with an extra 20mm of travel.
With no air in what does the fork compress to? Is it possible that despite there being 140mm of stanchion only 120mm is actually used at full compression?

Nope they go all the way down, thanks
Sounds like you've got the wrong shaft?
