Doesn't look like we've got a 2019 TT thread yet, so I thought I'd start one with a bit of shameless self promotion. I've taken over running our club's early season Open TT at Charlbury. Very different from the typical 10s and 25s, it's 36 miles of rolling Cotswold countryside around a 2 lap circuit.

Charlbury TT

I figure that TTers on an MTB forum might prefer their races with some lumps in them, so if you fancy something a bit different, why not give it a go? I love this course, which is why I stuck my hand up to organise to make sure the event carries on.

I'm doing separate prizes for road bikes, so even if you're not into pointy hats and knee length socks you'll be very welcome.

Entries close next Tuesday, more info here.

well I've started the season with the spring bunny 10 TT at Garlogie.

Will let you know how we get on , on the 7th.

Its our Clubs season starter - open BC sanctioned so if your local get an entry in.

I've got your club's 25 in late June as a potential race this year - will see how some of my early local 10s go.  Good luck with the race above, I'm travelling otherwise I would have considered this one.

oh , I'm on the look out for a 25TT in scotland that isnt the Dundee Thistle 25 run on the A90. As fast as it is i REFUSE to race on the A90.

Thistle used to run a 25 out of Glamis to Coupar Angus and back which was the first one i broke the hour on..... But alas they are not using it this year.

I had a look on the BC site and there wasnt much showing if any for 25s. Any of the Inverness or central belt clubs got anything in the pipe line that may not have been processed to the BC site yet ?

From CTT website, the Law Wheelers race on the A811

Johnstone Wheelers on the A8

Or a Glasgow Wheelers circular course

Got an early ten under the belt a couple of weeks back, opener of the Manchester and District league. Good to get the TT bike moving again, event was like being at a pristine Ferrari dealership compared to the mud and grime of cyclocross season.
Hoping to get under the hour on one of our local Cheshire 25s this year. Did a superfast course last year and was comfortably under, but not really counting that, our local stuff is more honest. Should be within my grasp, but only done two 25s total so will prob need a few goes at it.
