Looking for a new frame to replace my Cannondale Jekyll - the trouble is the Jekyll uses a 50mm offset fork, I cant really afford to buy a new fork (or complete bike) so would be looking to use the fork in a 2018 Transition Patrol which is design around a 37mm offset.
What effect will the large offset fork have on this frame?
I'm sure one of the reviews for the new transitions tried runs with normal and reduced offset forks.
Unsurprisingly it worked best with the reduced offset and he didn't die with the normal. There are loads of frames that'll take your fork though. Why pick one which will be a compromise?
