Thinking of getting something to commute on through cyclescheme and noticed a few places still have these in the right size.
Now as I know next to nothing about road/cx/gravel kit & groupsets etc. how dies the spec look?

Only other bike I've really looked at is the Boardman CX Comp - which is about £150 cheaper and has the interrupter (correct terminology??) levers on the brakes.
Thanks
I have the boardman. Love it. Its quite heavy and the brakes aren't great but otherwise i cannot fault it.
it handles well, has room for full guards, can take some serious abuse, shifts well, pedals well and i can do wheelies on it because of the 2nd brake levers!!
i got mine when it was offer though for £550 then i got 10% off with british cycling membership.
I'm not that impressed with the spec, sora 9 speed and mechanical disc brakes, even if they are TRPs...
Narrow tyres and I have no idea if those rims are tubeless.
It's the same frame as the vitus energie, for £999 I'd be looking at that instead

the 2018 with a newer frame and internal routing is only £949.

Brakes are better on the nukeproof, plus you'll look more pro, and potentially be more visible than on the Boardman.
Interruptor levers don't fill me with confidence TBH, and limit room for lights if you're riding through the winter anyway.
Also, if the Digger has the hidden cable type Sora shifters that's a bonus in the winter, you get a fair bit of glare back at you off the cables when it's dark.
That said, if you're a BC member (which I'd reccomend) you can get the CX Team for £810 atm, cable disks are annoying to keep adjusting on a commuter, trust me.
Thanks lads - much appreciated.
As I'm doing it through cyclescheme not sure if I can use my BC discount.
For halfrauds? I asked in my local store and they said yes. You get vouchers so you can use any saved vouchers on accessories.
