Its time to plan 2017 and I need an event or challenge, something Kielderesque nothing too gnarr.
Whats good?
Mega 😀
I really want to do that fort William dh marathon thing
I am going to give the Supbikerun stuff a go next year, once my wrist has all healed up.
They seem good fun. http://www.supbikerun.co.uk/events-2017/
Although not just MTBing, looks like a challenge.
I'm torn between the
and theMega
fort William dh marathon thing
You didn't say if you want UK or further afield.
If further, try the Salzkammergut Trophy. The A course is 211km, 7000+ meters climbing, and is not too technical.
I'm probably looking at the Beskidy 4 day MTB race in Poland, but the Hero MTB race is calling to me.
Abroad is not out of the question but I'm unlikely to be competitive in anything too serious. In fact it doesnt have to be an organised event could be just a great route matbe even multiday.
SouthLakes100(miles) #jennride 20/21st of May do it in one of sleep out like 70% did last year, will be running the Lakes200(kms) along side it which is very hike a bike!
Both routes start in Staveley
That Fort Bill DH marathon looks pretty awesome
Tweed love triple, mac avalanche, mega avalanche 2017 goals done.
