Dumbass question-sorry- can you convert the existing rear hub to gears ie is it a standard free hub fitted with spacers in the stock set up? Pardon my ignorance
you can just swap the rear hanger/dropout on my 2014 model

on my 2014 no, the formula freehub was too small to fit a standard casette, dunno about the joytech one on the 2017 tho
