Hi guys
first post on here and a bit of a desperate one really.
I recently bought a second hand 2015 stumpjumper from a family member who had it from new.
it had been sat for a few months so upon getting it i decided to do a "couple" of upgrades.
standard spec it came with 142+ rear wheels which were replaced for hope 142x12 hope fortus 30s
bottom bracket began to make some noise so had it changed out for a hope PF46 bottom bracket and straight away there was an awful grinding noise from the front chain ring. booked in with local leisure lakes to get a gold service to check everything over and just fine tune everything so it was good to go. got the bike back and the noise was still there, asked them to take it back to standard with the bottom bracket hoping this would of sorted it but its still the same. grinding on the front chain ring on the front half of the rear cassette 1-5. reoplaced frint chainring as thought it may be that it was grabbing but still the same!
One thing i have noticed is that the chain line in 6-12 is spot on but on the higher gears you can see the angle changed dramatically when it comes to the front chain ring!
How on earth or what has been done to do this? and howdo i fix it cause im about 5 minutes away from setting the thing alight!!
Thanks in advance
