Hi all,

Question for you guys, I've just got a £1k cycle to work voucher to use at Evan cycles but was wondering when the 2015 ranges might appear.
I've got 3 months to use the voucher, maybe I can choose something from that range.

At the mo I'm looking for a trail bike I can go fast on and have fun. I've been mountain biking on and off for years hiring bikes for trips, originally was a bmx fiend in my teens 20 years ago and used to love buying them cheap second hand then doing them up. Looking forward to getting back into it and taking in some scenery.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Thanks, Nick

2015 bikes are already appearing in dribs and drabs in many places. Spesh have had some models out for the best part of a month. However, the mid range MTB stuff (C2W range basically) are a little way off.

Good point, Kimbers. However, C2W can be a bit of a loss leader for bike shops, as such, they're usually far less willing to cut a deal/offer a discount on a bike if it's C2W.

Yes, wait until the new ones come out, then get a discounted 2014 model. I had no problems buying a discounted bike on C2W a couple of years ago. Evans also let you add whatever you wanted on top of the voucher, so you could get a £1k voucher and buy a £2k bike if you like (don't know if that still applies).

good point on the cheaper 2014. someone else said on a forum to take your budget a double it. i think i can get what i need for 1000-1500 that will keep me going for a bit, the only downside is limited to evans range.

cheers
