After getting a couple of years out of the original bottom bracket & then 3 months out of a Race Face set, I now am looking at whats available & going to last a decent amount of time. (not 3 months grrrr!)
I dont really want to shell out for a Hope PF41 , but is it correct that the hope 1 wont fit anyways, because of a ridge inside the frame? I can't remember seeing it.
Anyone know for sure?
Yes your right , Anthem BB is stepped and the Step is not big enough to fit Hope BB.
As I found out when I popped one in, Hope sorted it out and got a full refund for me off the very unhelpful bike shop. (Thanks 18 bikes). Bigger thanks to Hope for contacting the shop and get it sorted, top service.
I just use Shimano ones now , whatever is on offer at Chain Reaction.
Same answer from me, can't fit a Hope so I've stayed with Shimano.
