I have a 2014 Turner Czar & today noticed the lock out on the Fox CTD rear shock wasn't working. Not something I use very often but not working none the less.
I think the shocks been serviced once since new so well over due. I also repaired a minor chip on the shaft a while ago. So a service will be £100+ & possibly a new shaft too.
Putting 165x38 (the shock size) into ebay brings up all sorts of options.
RockShox Monarch RL - new from Germany for £161
X-Fusion with Remote - new from Taiwan for £140
DNM with lock out - new from UK for £119
DNM - new from Ireland £110

I've never heard of DNM. Does anyone have any recommendations on the above or better alternatives.
Remote would be a good option as the SID Ultimate fork has a lockout with two cable ports in the remote lever, but not essential.

You'll want a light tune for a Czar, so if the cheap socks don't have that you'll be looking at a retune "service" on the new sick anyway. Tempting to send the existing shock to tf and see what they can do with it.

I'd get the current shock rebuilt for sure. It'll work like new and be tuned as need as mentioned above. Unless anything has changed, DNM are found on budget bikes, and the other two options aren't amazing.

Chances are that you'll need to spend an additional £40 to get your new shocked tuned to match the Czar, so better to get your current shock serviced IMHO.
