Hi, I can't find any info on the possibility of running 27.5+ wheels on a 2014 kona unit. I know the new ones can, but what about slightly older models?
doubt it TBH. there's a thread on here that got quite long about what frames and forks would take 27.5+. you'll have to do a search.
Yeah have tried a search. it's not clear. was hoping someone could provide a yes or no answer. all good
I imagine you could run 2.6 tyres (my Unit - which I think it a 2014 - has quite a bit of clearance). Getting a wheelset to fit may be another problem, unless you go custom.
I doubt the rear but I've but I've squeezed a 29+ (40mm int/45mm ext rim) in the standard P2 fork. It has about 3mm each side clearance.

It's a load of fun rigid now. I think 11psi is the sweet spot.
