Hey guys
I'm in need of replacing the bottom bushings on my trance but for the life of me do not seem to be able to remove the bottom bolt? Any suggestions would be hugely appreciated 🙂

Have they changed the bottom shock mount on the 2014 ones?
The older ones didn't have bushes or an eyelet for the bottom mount, just bearings either side. If this is the case the bolt could be seized into the inner bearing races - it might turn but wouldn't come out.

EDIT - if that is the case, you're probably going to have to "encourage" the bolt out.

Thanks for the speedy response it's most certainly seized but there's lots of play as well so ill have to source new bearings before I do any encouraging 🙂

I had a similar issue on the bolt behind the bb on a 2012.
Took a fair bit of vice pressure using a socket and a random but perfectly sized brass handle thing?! lying about but actually a bearing removal tool would be perfect too. Just don't whack it with a mallet. Took enough force that hitting would damage the bolt.
