Can anyone tell me what the model of hub/freehub Boardman used on their 29er pro ? Model year is 14/15 the rims are Mavic XM319, mixture of Deore and XT rear derailleur and cassette, 2x10 with FSA BB and front chainrings. I was adjusting the rear derailleur for a friend and couldn't help noticing 4 or 5mm play on the rear cassette, have stripped the wheel thinking it might be cones...and the only thing left is the freehub. Looks like a generic Shimano, but 10mm allen key is too small to remove it - is it a 12mm ? So to recap, can anyone confirm the rear hub model number and what I need to remove it (12mm allen key or something else) Any advice welcome ! many thanks, Jonny

Hi

Did you manage to find out what freehub it was? Mavic 319.

I have the same issue. 2019 model Boardman hyb 8.9. Cassette had 5mm wobble. Stripped it down. All is good but the freehub has a wobble. I tried a 10mm key which was too small. I have a 12mm but the body is too big so I dont know if it will fit.

Thanks

Might be worth a forum search as I'm pretty sure this came up a few weeks back in a thread and there were some answers given.

It might be Novatech, or im remembering incorrectly?
