Any good?any experiences?Thanks in advance.
Got a 2010. great bike. i swapped the marzocchi for a lyrik though. Only downside is the weight but i can still pedal it around the likes of glentress and it climbs well considering the geometry
The 2011 comes with lyrics. What sort of weight is this bike?
Run mine with Coil Totems and DHX5 with folding tyres, its around 35lb.
Perfect bike for alps, snowdon, UK DH trails. Pedals when you need to
37lbs with Roco Coil R, Lyriks and wire single ply Swampthings.
Ben and Bob,cheers.Do they pedal well?Ever tried some long days out on them?ie 40/50 miles.
Yep, pedals fine, don't tend to have any turns on ProPedal.
In the alps we try to get above the lifts so i've done a few 1000m+ climbs on it
I run 2x9 and flats
1000 metres plus climb.Respect.I sometimes wonder if light means rattley and uncomfortable. Do you think i will find coil shocks better than air shocks?
I have an RP23 and the DHX4, struggled with the RP23 to stop it bottoming out with the right amount of sag, sent it back to change the tune a few times, even went back to small air can
I think they are ok if you are a bit lighter, i am 6ft 7 on a L and weigh 90kg
