It's a non-dogging version of the R7 😉

apparently the st4 is:

a veritable conglomerate of design made to continue our own inimitable niche

Blimey! Have the marketing boys been on the pop?

the pure P7 is a rehash of last years....new rear drop outs/slightly de-specced to hit the £1000 cyclescheme mark...

st4 has been tweeked also...

"ST4 uses a low leverage ratio to produce 110mm of buttery smooth travel"
"to give 100mm perfectly controlled progressive travel driven through single pivot linkage actuated design"

I guess the last 10mm is a bit uncontrolled and unprogressive, though still smooth?

I am having a new ST4 fresh out of the paint shop in a couple of weeks. Apparently it's more "mini blood" now but since I haven't ridden a blood, not a huge amount of help to me.

Certainly look the part, be interesting to see how it rides compared to the "old" one. One of the things that sold me on that was how plush the rear suspension was with the pro pedal off, but how well it climbed with it on.

Shall report back when mine turns up.

St4 looks really similiar apart from shock position.
Be interested to try one as the older model is fantastic!
