Thinking about a new bike. Are the 2010 models going to be lower spec for same price or higher price for same model?
I'm thinking about road and cross bikes specifically. Any examples?
Edit: oops just seen the fox fork price rant.
Also been looking at (cheap) road bikes, one of the important factors for me is if the bike has the two paddle Tiagra shifters over the cheap Sora. At the prices I was looking at you either had nice brake/shifters but compromised somewhere else, or cheap levers with maybe a nicer frame.
Specialized have dropped from Tiagra shifters > Sora on the Allez Sport I was looking at, but lowered the price.
Trek have upgraded the 1.5 from Sora shifters > Tiagra and also raised the price.
Sadly most bikes spec for spec are going up in price next year. About 5% or so, 2010 is already in the shops in BMX world. Had a shed load today.
