I have decided to carry out an oil change on my forks and would like some advice having read the tech pages on the Fox website. So as it's only an oil change do I need to take the Talas bobbins out and I'm bit confussed about putting the oil back in on the lockout/rebound side?
No leave Talas side alone unless changing seals the talas unit seals and you may need a Talas charging tool too for this depending Talas System fitted (I,II or III), drop lowers off and remove damper cart. to bleed it.
Mr LoCo I can leave the damper bit in the fork leg and just push it up and down?
You can but it doesn't really purge all the old dirty oil out that well. You need a 26mm 6 sided socket (ideally machined flat) for the top cap.
Million thankyou's, will look in the garage tonight if I can't find one I will purchase one from yourself.
No probs. drop me a mail if you have any issues 😀
