Just bought a 2009 cove stiffee, I don't have the bike in hand yet but I believe it takes a 30.0 seatpost any one know if you can squeeze a reverb or similar in there?

Not unheard of that people ream out the seat tube to take a 30.9 - there are threads from way back talking about it, think transition were the frames in question at the time, but somethign overbuilt like a Stiffee would probably be a good candidate too.

Failing that, a 27.2 post with a shim (Thomson/KS Lev) should work.

ah brilliant id probably go the shim route but just wondered what difference the .9 made

The .9 is the difference between warranty and no warranty, basically... 🙂

For a 2009 frame, you could risk it - you only get 100mm travel on the 27.2 posts.
