I have a 2008 Rockhopper Pro with Avid Juicy 3 hydraulic brakes.
Doing the final descent at the FOD yesterday I found myself struggling to keep my hands on the bars and brake, and really would like some adjustable reach levers.
What's the cheapest way to achieve this? I'd rather not replace all the brakes as they work very well indeed.
Can I just look out for a set of Juicy 5/7 levers and it will all be compatible with the hoses/calipers/pistons of the 3's?
Cheers
Your lever has reach adjust I thought just need to use an Allen key,
Look inside the lever blade just behind where it pivots
I read that this screw just adjust the freeplay before the lever contacts the piston. I'll have a look though.
