my 2008 enduro has cracked chain stays, not sure how it happened, but its common. its also out of warranty, Specialized have quoted £200 for a new chain stay.

Can anyone help source me a cheaper one?

cheers

Why post a post like that al2000. How is it helpful in anyway ?

Unfortunately OP specialized is the only place you can get new ones from.

You may be able to find a second hand one on eBay.

I had the same issue. You could risk a second hand one and hope it lasts or bite the bullet. I chose the latter option.

Yeah, posters like "al2000" are not helpful 😉

£200 for half a frame isn't a bad option, given it's an older frame and all.

Other option would be to buy a more up-to-date geometry 26" frame for a little more, as they're bonkers cheap these days.

Renton, I often go on bicycle rides with the OP and we had already discussed several options.

Hope that helps.
