My next door neighbour want to by my 36's but they have a 20mm through axel.
He runs an older style SX which came on a bike he brought used. I know the current SX are easy to get adaptors for and change but have no idea about the older ones.
Think they're 2007/8 (the grey hubs) so can it be done and which adaptor do I need?

You need part number M40723, which was handily renamed 99504001
