I’m sure this is a stupid question but my brain is fried after this week. I mistakenly bought a 203mm disc to replace the 200 mm disc on the front of my Sentry and only noticed after I fitted it so can’t return it. Is it as simple as fitting a 1.5mm washer on each bolt so it clears the calliper? Or is there a problem with that? Thanks! 🙂
It is that simple, I have plenty of washers on most of my bikes
Brill, thanks, I was pondering because the calliper bolts are different distances from the centre of the rotor, so I thought it might need different spacing but I guess the angles compensate for that! 🙂
I'd go for some nice CNC'd titanium ones instead of bog standard steel or stainless, when measured with digital vernier calipers they can be different from one side to the other so its best to get cnc precision ones if you're gonna hack or bodge it 😀
If you want to ensure absolute accuracy then Hope dealers sell washers in graduated sizes. And.. many other fastening companies around the country. Never heard that titanium is any more accurate, lighter maybe?
